Hello, My name is Cindy Butcher. I am so grateful to be working with such an amazing team. It’s a beautiful thing coming to work at Bluewater Chiropractic Wellness Center and feeling like you’re part of a family. You can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in the door. I have worked in billing and as a substitute teacher as well as a long term sub for teachers on maternity leave. I am new to chiropractic care and the more I read and learn the more excited I get. I have had a lifelong struggle with chronic back pain. I am looking forward to learning ways to relieve my pain naturally and living a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I am originally from Stephenville, Texas but while visiting my sister in Panama City I met the man of my dreams. Doug and I were married October 1996. He was active duty Air Force so we were stationed in Wichita Falls Texas then received orders to Eglin AFB. After serving 23 years active duty my husband retired and we loved the area so much that we made Niceville our forever home. We have 2 sons and 1 daughter. They are grown and have blessed us with 3 beautiful grand daughters and 1 grandson. Having grandchildren is the best thing in the world to me. I enjoy spending time on our land in DeFuniak Springs. Between riding four wheelers, taking my grandchildren fishing or to the river to cool off I would say it’s my happy place. I also love being on the boat in the bayou fishing with my youngest son. My family is very important to me so spending time together is very special. I have a sister that lives locally and another sister in Texas. I am also an animal lover and have 2 dogs, a golden and a black lab. We also have a tabby cat that my son rescued on my parents land in Texas.
My name is Katie O'Donovon and I am so proud to be a part of the Bluewater Chiropractic Team. I have been a chiropractic patient for over 20 years and feel that I have an excellent understanding of how chiropractic stimulates and helps the body to heal at an accelerated rate in a non-invasive and drug-free manner. I feel a responsibility to our community to help inform and educate about the important role that chiropractic plays in achieving true optimal health and wellness. I am excited to be given the opportunity to achieve this while being a part of the team of Bluewater Chiropractic Wellness Center . I moved to this area from Pensacola in 1995. I have an Associates Degree in business and my professional experience includes working as Executive Assistant to numerous area corporate leaders. I am currently the Insurance and Billing Coordinator for the office as well as a Registered Chiropractic Assistant. My duties are to complete all insurance/patient billing, as well as communicate with insurance companies, lawyers, and patients regarding any aspect of the billing process. I look forward to assisting our patients with any billing/payment concerns and to help work through the challenges of the current insurance industry.
Hi everyone! I can't tell you how happy and thankful I am to be a part of the Bluewater chiropractic family! Chiropractic is a new career path for me and I was actually introduced to the family by our beloved office manager, Cindy Butcher. Cindy and I met a few years ago while I was a caretaker for her mother.
Although you'll probably hear it in my accent, I'm officially a northerner, from Kalamazoo Michigan! But I like to consider myself a southern bell at heart.
The Air Force moved my husband and I to Fort Walton Beach in 2014. Together we have a 14-year-old dog, Mya, and a two-year-old rabbit, Chickpea, whom we absolutely adore!
When I'm not in the office my hobbies include; being a full-time fur mom, gardening, laying by the pool, playing disc golf, running or going to the gym! Other fun things about me are that I love to smile and laugh, I love Jesus and giving hugs with all my heart, I like to listen to the piano and I have an identical twin sister.
I am excited to meet everyone and look forward to working with all of you!
My name is Shelby, and I’m from a small town in Mississippi.
I started working for a chiropractor when I was just seventeen years old. I had no prior knowledge of what chiropractic was, but I was drawn to work there by the love and positivity that radiated from the place. It was there that I discovered how much I loved helping people on their health journeys. I’ve learned so much since then. But my favorite part is that chiropractic focuses not on the symptoms of our pain, but it treats the cause of it. This was something that absolutely blew my mind when I was first learning about it. That my doctor didn’t want to just temporarily get rid of my pain, but that they genuinely cared about why I was in pain. And that’s what makes all of the difference.
I’ve had the pleasure of living in Florida paradise for the past two years, and I love the sunshine!
When I am not at work I enjoy anything that allows me to be outside. I love running and hiking. And In the warmer months, you can find me catching waves on the beach.
My favorite activity is painting as it relaxes me and gives me clarity after a long day.
I was drawn to work at Bluewater Chiropractic because of the love that I have for chiropractic care. I know that I’ve seen my own life changed by it. But the thing that made me want to stay at Bluewater Chiropractic was that I once again felt the love and light that radiates from this place. There isn’t a person in this building who doesn’t make you feel welcomed and cared for. And that’s why I am so proud to be a part of this team.
